Custom Manufacturing of Promotional Products to Your Specification

When a catalogue item does not meet your requirement, we build the product. Custom manufacturing – also referred to as custom production or private label – means construction, material, dimensions, colours and features are made to your specification. The starting point is whatever you can supply: a specification sheet, a technical drawing, a product photo, or a physical sample to work from.

What we can read from your reference

The more precise the reference, the more reliable the first pricing statement. We can work with:

• Technical drawing with dimensions, seam runs and positions of pockets, straps and closures
• Physical sample as a reference – for example a predecessor model from an earlier procurement whose construction has proven itself
• Colour reference as a PMS value rather than a description, stated separately for material and decoration
• Material specification with weight, for example canvas in oz or polyester in denier
• Feature detail: lining, padding, webbing width, zip brand, base reinforcement
• Labelling: woven label, care label, country-of-origin marking, hangtag
• Packing requirement: individual polybag, box quantity, carton marking

An incomplete reference is not a blocker. If half of these points are missing, we make reasoned assumptions for the initial costing and disclose them – so you can see what the price rests on.

Evidence, supply chain and material testing

In longlist screening it is not the product idea that decides, it is the evidence. Which social audits exist for a factory, and which material test reports are meaningful, differs by factory and product group – a blanket assurance would be worthless here.

So we work the other way round: tell us the standards your procurement policy requires. Before the sampling phase we will tell you what we can evidence, what we need to commission, and where something does not exist. For textile components we are a GOTS-certified dealer and an official Stanley/Stella retailer; screen printing, DTF and embroidery run in our own facility and are therefore directly controllable.

Quantity, lead time and delivery terms

Three figures are enough for a reliable first response – and they are exactly the three already in your requisition:

• Target quantity: it determines tooling cost, price break and which construction is economically viable at all. We have manufactured five-figure lots repeatedly – the largest single lot comprised 29,621 units.
• Target date: sampling rounds and transport route drive the lead time. Give us the date the goods must be on the ground and we will tell you whether it holds – and if not, where it breaks.
• Target price: a stated target price shortens the loops considerably, because we tailor the construction to it rather than costing past it.

Delivery terms, customs clearance and delivery format are agreed per project. On request we deliver not merely to a dock but pre-kitted – one institutional bag project was handed over picked in boxes of 80, 11,694 units in total.

We are used to being vetted as a supplier and we participate in tenders and eAuctions. Evidenced from live projects:

• Manufacturing in accordance with tender documentation and supplied design artwork
• Reproducible specification: repeat runs identical to the first lot, years later – one model reached 57,586 units
• Integration with procurement systems via OCI and punchout, with role permissions, cost centres and budget control
• Head office in Bochum, second location in Vienna, trading since 2003

Send us your specification sheet, drawing or product photo together with target quantity, target date and target price. You will receive a feasibility statement and a price corridor – and if your specification is not viable at that quantity, we will say so rather than sell you a sampling round.
