What is an onboarding box?+
An onboarding box (also called a welcome box or welcome kit) is a curated package of branded products given or sent to new employees on their first day. It serves to reinforce company culture, strengthen employer branding and help new hires identify with the company from day one.
What is the minimum quantity for an onboarding box at UNICUM?+
We produce and store from 20 units. The calculation is based on annual demand: a company hiring 10 new employees per month orders 120 boxes at once and calls them off throughout the year — with no further minimum per call-off.
What does an onboarding box cost?+
Costs depend on product selection, quantity and finishing complexity. Simple base boxes start from around €20–35 per unit. Premium boxes with GOTS-certified textiles and several branded items typically range from €50 to €90. We provide a transparent cost calculation based on your annual requirements on request.
How long does implementation take until the first box is in storage?+
From the initial enquiry to the first box in storage, the process typically takes 4–6 weeks — including briefing, mockup approval and production. After that, call-off orders can be fulfilled within 1–2 working days.
Can UNICUM deliver boxes directly to new employees?+
Yes. We ship directly to office addresses, home office addresses or any location — including international destinations. For remote teams and decentralised organisations, this is the standard approach.
Are GOTS-certified textiles available for the box?+
Yes. As an official Stanley/Stella dealer, we have direct access to the full GOTS-certified collection, including hoodies, T-shirts and sweatshirts in corporate design — with screen print, embroidery or transfer finishing.
Can we choose the contents of the box freely?+
Completely. We suggest products; the final selection is yours. Your own elements such as company print materials, onboarding handbooks or local products can also be included.
Is there a webshop connection for HR teams?+
Yes. We integrate the onboarding box into an existing UNICUM employee shop or set up a standalone call-off shop. HR orders with a click; the system handles dispatch, stock monitoring and reporting — with no manual effort.
